Go Rocco Is Now on Android!

The wait is over. Go Rocco is officially live on the Google Play Store, and it's completely free to download.

When we launched on iOS back in March, one of the most common questions we got was "when's it coming to Android?" We heard you, and we've been working flat out to make it happen. Today, we're proud to say that every Android user in the UK can download Go Rocco and start using it right now.

Everything you love, on Android

This isn't a stripped-down version or a "lite" release. Go Rocco on Android has full feature parity with iOS. Everything that makes the app useful is here from day one:

• GPS walk tracking: Record every walk with detailed route maps, distance, duration, and pace. Build a complete walking history for you and your dog
• Live temperament map: Set your dog's temperament and see other dogs nearby before you cross paths. The 50-metre rule keeps everyone's privacy intact
• Dog-friendly places: Discover pubs, cafes, parks, and beaches that welcome dogs, verified by real owners
• Pet passport: Keep vaccination records, vet details, microchip numbers, and health notes all in one secure place
• Social feed: Connect with other dog owners in your area. Share tips, favourite walks, and local knowledge
• Lost pet alerts & SOS: If the worst happens, alert nearby dog owners instantly and share your dog's details with one tap
• Achievements & rewards: Daily challenges, streaks, and leaderboards to keep your walks fun

Why Android matters

Go Rocco only works when dog owners use it together. The more people on the map, the safer walks become for everyone. With Android making up a huge share of UK smartphones, launching on Google Play was always a priority for us. It means more dogs visible on the map, more dog-friendly places reviewed, and a bigger community sharing tips and routes.
